VI-GLOW Peel

“Lunchtime Peel” uses a unique blend of active cosmoceutical ingredients (Trichloroacetic Acid 7% , Salicylic Acid 2% and Retinoid Acid 8%, Glycolic Acid, Vitamin C), creating one of the safest 15 minute “minimal downtime” medical peels designed to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin by removing its damaged outer layers. Retin-A is a proven wrinkle fighter, TCA can relieve the skin of fine wrinkles and surface blemishes, salicylic acid is an exfoliant and an anti-inflammatory agent, vitamin C stimulates collagen and battles wrinkles and hyperpigmentation and phenol provides long lasting solutions to major issues such as deep-set wrinkles.

On their own, Retin-A and TCA are more moderate peels, while phenol gives a deeper peel; improvements after a phenol peel can be dramatic and last many years. It is helpful for those individuals with facial blemishes, wrinkles and uneven skin pigmentation.

The peel is incredibly effective in removing sunspots from the hands and chest and eliminating the wrinkles associated with sun damage on the décolletage. The peel may be repeated as often as every two weeks, if necessary, for damaged skin. After a peel, the skinwill have slightly tan to red appearance. Over the next two days the skin will feel slightly tighter and look tanned. Pigmented spots and freckles may become darker. At the end of day three the patient will begin to peel. The skin peeling in most cases is a light fluffy peel. The first signs of peeling will be noted in the most sensitive areas around the mouth and corner of the eyes. Use of the Vi Derm™ moisturizer will help patients to continue with their usual daily routine. In some cases, the peel is virtually invisible and generally finished by day six or seven with substantial results. —

“I want to add that each time I go back to see Dr. Roberts I'm even more pleased than before. She takes a lot of time to talk with her patients and listens to what I want. She is very skillful and I look much younger without appearing plastic. She is great!!!!
